President-elect Obama: Apocalypse Now

I had previously raised the question of whether President-Elect Barack Obama is the antichrist and in response Conservative Chloe provided a fascinating, in-depth analysis that showed that although he is not, he may be a apocalyptic aide-de-camp.

Dan Friedman has just forwarded an article that appeared in the Catholic News Agency website that quotes Cardinal James Francis Stafford, head of the Apostolic Penitentiary of the Holy See, as describing President-elect Obama as:

“aggressive, disruptive and apocalyptic”.

CNA has a tape of Cardinal Stafford's discussion (see below), which is worth hearing. Cardinal Stafford gives a perceptive analysis of Obama's posture and mannerism, and expresses grave concern about the President-elect's position on abortion.

Cardinal Stafford adds:

"America suffered a cultural earthquake.”

Dan Friedman writes:

>James Francis Cardinal Stafford is the Major Penitentiary of the Apostolic Penitentiary, which is the Vatican equivalent of a three-star general and a member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. On Thursday he gave a talk at Catholic University and he had some unflattering observations about President-elect Barack Obama. No surprise the Cardinal pivoted off Obama's pro-abortion position. But beyond that, if you can ignore the tinny acoustics, listen to the Cardinal's very interesting analysis of Obama's use of language, his personality and physical characteristics. You don't have to be Catholic to appreciate their catholic implications.

I am still baffled at those who have called themselves Christians i.e. followers of Christ and yet voted for a man who supports such abhorrent crimes against humanity. Those people who call themselves Christians should have a litmus test using the precepts of Christ. Did He not say, "Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me. But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea." (Matt. 18:4-6)
So we as a Nation have decided to offend the littlest in our Country? I would say those who vote these people into power are not true Christians and are worshiping a false Christ. To say one is pro-life but believes in a persons right to choose is a cop-out. You either believe in and support infanticide and murder with your vote and tolerance for these practices or you don't.

I have one question for those who say abortion is ok or people should at least have the choice. When you stand face to face with Jesus and he asks you what you did to protect his children from being murdered, what will be your answer? And yes, you will be asked. If we as a Nation vote first for what a President can do for us without first protecting the unborn, our Nation will come under a curse....oh wait, that is already happening. God says if those nations repent and turn from their wicked ways he will bless them. But we are so worried about the Stock Market and in our feverish "in the flesh" works to stop the downfall don't realize, we are not in control. It is the Lord and he will not bless us and fix our financial ruin until we repent and turn this Nation back over to him. So you want the economy to be fixed, the Bible is our answer. Mark my words, it will get worse while these people and their vile policies are leading the Country. That goes for corrupt Republican and corrupt Democrat alike.
