Oprah Winfrey's 2012 Campaign Donations

Oprah Winfrey is a Democrat par excellence.  She was number 184 on Forbes's list of the richest Americans in 2012.  Rich Democrats get to support candidates who help them financially, but they can also go around telling people that they put others first.   We can thank Oprah for making us all a little poorer, yet at the same time we can admire her conscience with sincere gratitude. She is a saint.

Obama Campaign's Election Fraud

Pamela Geller of Atlas Shrugs (h/t Bob Robbins)carries a piece about the Obama campaign's extensive election fraud. Unlike the McCain campaign, the Obama campaign has accepted credit card charges for:

"John Galt, Saddam Hussein, Osama Bin Laden, and Bill Ayers have gone through. So much for Obama's rigorous credit card screening."

Pamela herself did a little experiment, although the thought of donating $10 to a crooked liar like Barack Obama makes me queasy:

"And I have the screenshots to prove it. Also, I made another attempt this morning to make a $10 donation under the name Tony Rezko (See attached.) And it went thru again. So reports that this has been fixed are erroneous."

Lawless in Chicago: Obama Breaking more Laws

Newsmax's Ken Timmerman reports that the Obama campaign has broken the law more than 2,000 times by allowing individuals to contribute above the $2,300 limit.

Timmerman points out that:

"On Aug. 31, for example, the Obama campaign filed a report listing a single donation from a Debra Myers in “Rancho Palos Verde, Calif.,” for $28,500 – more than 10 times the amount the law allows per election. Although Debra Myers is identified as a physician, only two individuals with that last name have a listed phone number in Rancho Palos Verdes (the city’s name actually does have an “s” at the end). Neither is a Debra or a “D” Myers, or a physician...

"...hundreds of other individual donors have given to the Obama campaign far in excess of the legal limit, a Newsmax analysis of campaign finance records shows.

Read the endless list of specifics of the Obama campaign's law breaking here .

Obama was understating when he said "change you can believe in". His lawless supporters believe in tens of thousands of dollars, not just "change".

Lots of Change You Can Believe In-$250 Million Worth

Bob Robbins has forwarded a Newsmax article which states that:

"A Newsmax analysis of the 1.4 million individual contributions in the latest master file for the Obama campaign discovered 1,000 separate entries for Mr. Good Will, most of them for $25...Mr. Good Will listed his employer as “Loving” and his profession as “You.” In total, Mr. Good Will gave $17,375...Similarly, a donor identified as “Pro, Doodad,” from “Nando, NY,” gave $19,500 in 786 separate donations, most of them for $25. For most of these donations, Mr. Doodad Pro listed his employer as “Loving” and his profession as “You,” just as Good Will had done."

"With such lax vetting of foreign contributions, the Obama campaign may have indirectly contributed to questionable fundraising by foreigners. In July and August, the head of the Nigeria’s stock market held a series of pro-Obama fundraisers in Lagos, Nigeria’s largest city. The events attracted local Nigerian business owners. At one event, a table for eight at one fundraising dinner went for $16,800. Nigerian press reports claimed sponsors raked in an estimated $900,000...In June, Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi gave a public speech praising Obama, claiming foreign nationals were donating to his campaign... A pair of Palestinian brothers named Hosam and Monir Edwan contributed more than $31,300 to the Obama campaign in October and November 2007, FEC records show."

"More than half of the whopping $426.9 million Barack Obama has raised has come from small donors whose names the Obama campaign won't disclose."

In a different e-mail, Andy Martin writes:

"I was smacked in the face by recent reports that Obama has raised almost a quarter of a billion dollars, almost $250 million, of clandestine campaign cash whose origins Obama has never disclosed. This amount is unbelievable and appears to reflect clear criminal intent to evade federal campaign contribution limitations.

"How does Obama think he can hide a quarter of a billion dollars by labeling the origins as 'petty cash?' Where are the mainstream media? Bothering Sarah Palin?

"I have asked General Mukasey, the Chicago U. S. Attorney and the FBI to open an investigation into the identities and sources of this secret cash. If the cash hoard is legal, we have a right to know. If the cash is tainted or even criminal, we also have a right to know, before the election, not afterwards. The American People should not have a 'pig in a poke' to vote for on November 4th."

Barack Obama, the Teapot Dome and America's Parrot-Brained Media

Is Barack Obama going to be our next Warren G. Harding, the president whose cabinet was implicated in several corruption scandals, most famously the Teapot Dome scandal? Pamela Geller of Atlas Shrugs (hat tip Larwyn) has been analyzing Obama's campaign contributions and finds an extraordinarily long list of foreign contributors, including one, Jeanne McCurdy, who has made multiple contributions on a single day. Pamela writes:

"There are numerous individuals who are "bundling" contributions, some are smaller from the same person on same day, not to mention lots "unemployed or student". Further, there's a ton of foreign service and State Department admissions.
lots and lots of multiple entries.

"lots of foreign service, diplomat entries.

"lots of military analyst types.

"lots way over any $200 non-reporting caps.

Other overseas contributors are making multiple small donations ostensibly in their own names over a period of a few days, some under maximum donation allowances, but others aggregating in excess of the maximums when all added up..."

Read it all here.

Is the media asking questions about the rather odd goings on such as Obama's cover-up of his birth certificate and unusual patterns in campaign contributions? Is the media questioning why Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs employees are overwhelmingly in favor of Mr. Obama? Is it merely because investment bankers favor change--or do they prefer $100 bills? Is the media asking questions, or is it functioning as a parrot-brained cheering squad for Mr. Obama, failing to ask even the most elementary questions that a competent mass media would ask?
