Video Claims That Google Is Functioning as an Arm of the Democratic Party

Google's Orewellian-named  ML Fairness system functions as a politically motivated information-massage system. It is consistent with the totalitarian trend among the Democrats, the media, social networking, and higher education.  I no longer use Google as my first choice for Web searches, although their technology is still the best.  I start with Bing and use Google as a backup. Hopefully, innovators will come up with technology that surpasses Google's, but that has yet to happen.  Relying on Google for information about current events is as stupid as relying on the spokesperson for the Democratic Party for information about the Republican Party.

The New Totalitarianism

Facebook and Twitter are models for a new totalitarianism under which people voluntarily subjugate themselves to censorship because without it they lead vacuous lives.

Key to Sustainability: Kick the UN out of the US and Get the US out of the UN

Glenda R. McGee sent me a Daily Caller blog about the UN's crackpot Agenda 21, which has caught on in a wide range of US governmental bodies ranging from county environmental departments to the Obama administration. Daily Caller's Jim Simpson points out that the terminology that the radical left and the UN have adopted, such as "sustainability", are code for radical social reorganization along Spartan lines (the Spartans had the kind of collectivist, highly controlled society that today's left advocates, with the Obama-Emanuel youth training movement very much in the Spartan communistic tradition).  Daily Caller does a good job of dissecting the code, much of which amounts to fear and loathing of freedom, human happiness and economic progress.  Given the environmental movement's staunch opposition to progress and technology, claiming that it is "progressive" is perhaps a worse abuse of language than calling authoritarian left-wingers "liberals."

The notion of "sustainability" is vacuous.  A way of life is sustainable if the participants conceive of a way of sustaining it.  Technology has proven remarkably inventive not in sustaining but in expanding standards of living. Such expansion has been stalled by the kinds of policies the environmentalists advocate. The chief enemies to sustainability are regulation, government, the Federal Reserve Bank, the United Nations, and authoritarian environmentalism.

As Simpson's article makes clear, UN Agenda 21's land control theme is a form of totalitarian communism that is more radical than Stalin's and Mao's. Environmentalism is a violent totalitarian movement very much in these extremist traditions.  Which is not to say that the environment is not an important concern.  The rule of law and private property are much better at maintaining the environment optimally than regulation and social reorganization.

It is frightening that the United Nations, which was founded on the premise that it would contribute to world peace, has become an organization that advocates human resettlement and mass murder.  It is time for the United States to rethink its involvement in the United Nations.  There is a place for a multilateral peace organization, but not for initiatives like UN Agenda 21 and the reactionary environmental movement.  The UN should be kicked out of the US, and the US needs to resign from the UN.

SNL: Obama in China

Jim Crum sent me this video. Besides being well executed in the SNL tradition, the skit surprised me for expressing concerns about the world monetary regime and the US relationship to China that are normally off limits in America's Pravda-like Democratic Party media. Now that the 2008 election is long past, NBC is apparently willing to permit a little late night levity at President Obama's expense. But just a little. While we're not quite there, America is not that far away from soft totalitarianism, certainly where Democratic Party media like NBC is concerned.

Glenn Beck Exposes Obama's Anti-Free Speech Impulses; Sowell Applauds

I haven't watched Glenn Beck previously. The left long claimed that it favored free speech. But now that it has power, it is taking rapid steps to regulate speech; control the media; and suppress dissent. If you are one of the few people who have not watched this sequence as I had not, please do. It is chilling. The American people have taken steps much like Hitler's in the last phases of the Weimar Republic. Chilling indeed.

Another friend sent me Thomas Sowell's excellent article in the Jewish World Review describing how Obama is dismantling the American constitution (in the broad sense, the fundamental values upon which our nation rests). Sowell credits Fox News with uncovering Obama's appointment of a wide range of advocates of totalitarianism and suppression of speech. He writes:

>Any miscalculation on (Obama's) part would be in not thinking that others would discover what these stealth appointees were like. Had it not been for the Fox News Channel, these stealth appointees might have remained unexposed for what they are. Fox News is now high on the administration's enemies list.

>Nothing so epitomizes President Obama's own contempt for American values and traditions like trying to ram two bills through Congress in his first year — each bill more than a thousand pages long — too fast for either of them to be read, much less discussed. That he succeeded only the first time says that some people are starting to wake up. Whether enough people will wake up in time to keep America from being dismantled, piece by piece, is another question — and the biggest question for this generation.

The nation is now in serious trouble. Generations of Americans have been brainwashed into thinking that authoritarian socialist solutions are necessary for "progress". In fact, the stagnant real hourly wage since 1970 and major economic declines in states like New York are symptomatic of the socialist steps that have taken us to the brink of totalitarian rule.

Barack Obama is a symptom of the underlying socialist power structure. It was clever of Wall Street to use race as a pretextual ruse to institute their lackey who would donate trillions to their coffers and fight to suppress dissent against their interests.
