Venezuelan Suppression

Prairie Pundit (h/t Larwyn) notes that Venezuela's quasi-dictator, Hugo Chavez, has threatened to imprison his chief political rival, Manuel Rosales. Prairie Pundit quotes Reuters quoting Chavez:

"'I am determined to put Manuel Rosales behind bars. A swine like that has to be in prison.'"

Barack Obama has said that he wishes to unconditionally meet with strongman Chavez. Larry Johnson of NoquarterUSA notes that Bill Ayers is a frequent visitor to Venezuela as is Obama fundraiser Jodie Evans.

I wonder if Senator Obama looks at Hugo Chavez as a personal role model.

Gateway Pundit (hat tip Larwyn) reports yet another anti-Semitic campaign in Venezuela:

The stridency of Chavez's anti-Semitism is not, as the ADL claims, "inexplicable". Chavez is a national socialist in the same tradition as Hitler and Stalin. His storm troopers have attacked Jews before and will so again.
