Dear Mr. President:
I have heard on Tousi.TV on YouTube that a highest-ranking official in one of the cabinet agencies has leaked secret Iran-offensive plans to the IRGC. If that is true, then I urge the Justice Department to seek the death penalty when the traitor is prosecuted. The action, if it occurred, is treasonous as defined by the US Constitution Article III, Section 3, which defines treason as "adhering to their [the United States'] Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.” 18 USC Section 2381 says that the death penalty can be the punishment.
The "deep state" has been a cancer on American freedon and democracy, and harsh penalties need to be set in order to discourage treason or what economists call "shirking," actions not in accordance with contractual obligations. Shirking fulfills the aims or "utility" of bureaucrats rather than their principals, the American public. Harsh penalties that raise the cost of violating the law create the best disincentives.
