TV News Becoming a Fringe Source
It is time to revisit the Pew poll in 2016 that found that 57% of Americans get their news from television. Pew found an age-related trend, with 50% of those 18-29 relying on Internet sources but 85% of those 65 and over relying on television.
The recent Mueller testimony and the American media's embarrassing, deceitful performance with respect to the Russia collusion hoax have blown the lid open: Big media is a partisan, deceitful force. That was always true, but they have never before been so sloppy and so open about their pro-Democratic Party and pro-deep state lying and propaganda.
The Mueller investigation may be a watershed in Americans' recognition that their press is fraudulent, TV news is fraudulent, and leading Internet sites are fraudulent. We may be looking at a future in which TV news is so discredited that that it will become a fringe, crank source like the National Enquirer or left-wing tabloids sold at the gates of college campuses.

Program Idea for the Department of Education
Dear
Mr. President:
The
Department of Education should formulate two educational programs concerning socialism. One would be addressed to fifth graders and the
other to tenth graders. The programs
would be the product of leading historians and economists, who would educate
students as to the history of socialism, its economic failure, its political
failure, and its history of mass murder. The showing of the two programs would be a
prerequisite for states’ eligibility for federal aid.
Zilvinas
Silenas, a refugee from Lithuania and the new president of the Foundation for
Economic Education, recently appeared in an interview on Dan Elmendorf’s
Redeemer Broadcasting (http://redeemerbroadcasting.org/content/plain-answer-podcasts
/ A Plain Answer: A Case Study -
Socialism as it was in Lithuania - Zilvinas Silenas ). In the interview Silenas describes in vivid
detail the horrible realities of socialism. Material like this could be
combined with history that short circuits the left-wing indoctrination that is
occurring in America’s schools. Indeed,
a discussion of political correctness and biases in the educational system
should be a part of the presentation, which would be given in one-to-two-hour
assemblies of students.
The chief argument against this idea
is that it can be coopted and turned into a pro-socialist presentation when the
Democrats gain power. However, such a
step would create a focal point for debate, for much of the subversion currently
occurs more subtly.
Along with Silenas and FEE, Peter
Wood of the National Association of Scholars could help appoint a commission
that would create the presentation.
Something needs to be done now about
the misinformation in which American students are being indoctrinated.
Sincerely,
Mitchell Langbert, Ph.D.

Is Scherie Murray a Republican?
Update on Scherie Murray: An insider in the Queens, New York Republican scene has assured me that Murray has long-time Republican affiliations in the borough, and she has already run for City Council as a Republican. My source says that she was in the past not knowledgeable about pro-freedom issues, but she has been willing to learn. The source speculates that she is being backed by Ted Cruz and concludes: "There are 4 or 5 Republicans in the race, and we'll see who leads in fundraising and publicity and who wins the primary."
Scherie Murray just announced her Republican congressional candidacy in AOC's district. A friend just forwarded this image of a tweet by Scherie Murray in which she heartily congratulates AOC for her victory. While not fatal to her credibility, the tweet raises questions that require investigation before Republicans can take Murray's bid seriously. Might she be a plant, an empty suit, or just a left-leaning Democrat who is angry about the damage AOC has done to property values in Western Queens? I co-own an apartment on 34th Avenue and 21st Street in Long Island City/Astoria, just a few blocks south of AOC's district, and I can attest to the serious damage AOC and her fellow left-wing Democrats did to property values when they rejected Amazon's proposed headquarters.
Admittedly, if she is just an annoyed Democrat, she's probably still better than AOC, although AOC does serve some useful purposes for Republicans nationally. Perhaps AOC can be viewed as a useful idiot...
