Yes, but the difference is I don't indoctrinate my students. For many, I am the first one to try to teach them how to write English. Working in the education system, I can testify to the cartoon's point. Although the majority of my senior seminar students haven't had much or any practice writing in four years of college, they have all been taught that Wal-Mart is evil and socialism is peaceful, and many repeat those arguments faithfully.
