Barack Obama: America's Foreign President

I have been busy with my academic research in recent weeks so I was somewhat surprised to receive hate mail from one of Barack Obama's supporters. I have stopped watching television news and reading newspapers, but I gather that Mr. Obama has proposed a scheme to diminish the American health care system. His followers now scan the Internet to vilify any who disagree with their anti-American views. This one accused me of disloyalty to America because I disagree with Mr. Obama. I fear, my friends, that the traitor is in the White House, not on this blog.

The birth certificate issue has not disappeared. I have not pursued it since November. The ever-perceptive Cortes De Russy, for one, argued that it was but a political harassment tactic, an "Alinsky" tactic, if you will. Likewise, the famed David Horowitz argued that the issue was pointless.

But Larwyn, the renowned coordinator of the conservative, libertarian, Jacksonian and anti-Federalist blogs (I can't make up my mind if I'm a Jacksonian or an anti-Federalist) has forwarded an e-mail indicating that the Obama birth certificate issue, which has been carried forward by the courageous Dr. Orly Taitz, is now being covered on a social democratic disinformation outlet, CNN, by the announcer Lou Dobbs. I am not familiar with CNN, but I would reckon that if it is questioning the birth certificate then all sides are.

I missed the segment but Larwyn reports:

"Lou is with us in why won't he show the certif. It was short segment but he put the only one trying to spin it in RACISM in her place. All three on panel have radio shows..."

Moreover, the courageous Sharad Karkhanis, who is being sued by an official of the CUNY faculty union, "Sue" O'Malley, for disagreeing with the union's social democratic foreign and domestic policies, forwarded the above video of a voter questioning her Congressman about the birth certificate. The Congressman, Mike Castle, asserts a position without factual support. He reminds me of the Federal Reserve Bank's board of governors and its open market committee. We have to believe! I guess Castle didn't read the transcript!

I picked up the ball fairly early in the birth certificate story in response to wonderful work by Pamela Geller and Texas Darlin'. I am fascinated that the story is beginning revivify and to pan out, thanks to Taitz, et al.

Has Google Suppressed Atlas?

Bob Robbins has forwarded this blog from Texas Darlin saying that Google has excised the Atlas Shrugs blog and other anti-Obama sites from its search engine:

"Google, the world’s number one search engine, is apparently adjusting its search engines to restrict access to anti-Obama information on the world wide web. I don’t know of a more intelligent, hard-working, ethical anti-Obama blogger than Atlas Shrugs. If Google is disappearing Pamela’s work, it’s flagrant political content-based censorship. Welcome to Obama’s Regime. And they say he’s a 'liberal?'"

Pamela Geller writes:

"A couple of days ago I was wiped off google search pages. Yes, if you google Pamela Geller or Atlas Shrugs, I come up, that is not the issue. My work is not there, it does not come up in google's search results. It is critical to building Atlas that I be searchable.Youtube searches are still intact as are images."

I Googled "Pamela Geller Atlas Shrugs" and came up with 32,200 hits, five times what I get when I Google "Mitchell Langbert". But when I Google "Obama birth certificate" I do not see Atlas Shrugs right away, which I would think I should. When I type in "obama birth certificate +atlas +shrugs" I get back 28,100 hits, including from the Atlas Shrugs site, which seems all right to me. I don't really understand how search engines work, or how Google might be editing or altering access.

But one thing's for sure. Google does a great job in providing search and blogging support. On the other hand, by virtue of its virtuosity does Google get too much information about us? I'm not casting aspersions about Google (nor am I clear about what has happened with Pamela) but the left-liberal ideology is largely the dominant paradigm, and it has been used systematically to secure concentrated corporate power even as leftists claim to favor the "underprivileged", minorities and the like. What has happened to the underprivileged and minorities? Take a walk around some of Brooklyn's worst neighborhoods, which were nothing like this before the left started to become ascendant in the 1930s.

Is big business capable of suppression of conservative bloggers on behalf of the pro-Obama progressive left? Of course. So whatever has gone on with respect to Geller's site, I respect what she says.

Obama Follower Threatens Atlas With Censorship

Pamela Geller of Atlas Shrugs reports (h/t Larwyn) that she has received the following threat from an Obama supporter who calls himself "GuyInGothamX":

"I am monitoring your site---if you or any of your hate- filled followers even make a passing joke about violence toward Barack Obama or his family, I am going straight to the FBI. I don't put anything past you or your racist followers----everything you do is an incitement to violence... additionally, i have reported your site to the Wiesenthal Center for Tolerance, the ADL, the ADC and the NAACP... you may think race-baiting and religious bigotry are entertaining, but i'm not sure those organizations will."

I have followed Pamela's site for the past year and have never once seen any race bating on her site. In fact, I am an occasional contributor to Wiesenthal, the ADL and the Southern Poverty Law Center and reject racism of any kind. I have never sensed any racism or hint of violence on Pamela's site, which won an attack from MSNBC's Keith Olberman a few weeks ago.

It seems to me that the prejudice is on this anonymous e-mailer's part. Once again we see the left attempting to censor anyone who disagrees with its views. Keep up the good work, Pamela!

All Republicans Should Go On Welfare and Bring Social Democracy Down

Part of the reason America has pursued the path of redistribution, socialization and monetary inflation over the past century is that hard working people have been willing to allow themselves to be exploited. There is a distinction between achievement and security. Two psychologists, David McClelland and Abraham Maslow talk about these needs. Achievement is targeting a standard of excellence and security means being free from anxiety. Americans have a strong need for achievement and for security, and these often transcend the need for money.

Redistribution from achievement in the interest of security means that the individual who focuses on achievement becomes a fool, a sucker. He is willing to work hard but allow the fruit from his hard work to be stolen from him and redistributed to others who are disinterested in hard work. This is true in the corporate system, which emphasizes teamwork and interpersonal skills, the indulgence of power needs and kowtowing, at the expense of innovation and achievement. It is also true across the economy, where unproductive teachers and academics, quack medical researchers, lawyers who destroy rather than produce wealth and investment bankers who speculate are rewarded and those who till, produce and innovate are taxed in order to subsidize the special interests.

There has likely been a destruction of innovation since the New Deal and Great Society. It is impossible to know how much innovation there would have been had there not been increased taxation, inflation and regulation in the twentieth century. At the same time, security needs were frustrated in a laissez faire economy. The game plan of the social democrats has been to provide two cents to the poor to enhance the psychology of security, and then transfer 98 cents to special interests and the educated elite who produce little and have become the chief beneficiaries of the state.

In the 19th century there were considerable fluctuations in prices and in the late 19th century a long deflation due to productive innovation. This created insecurity. But there was a link between the explosion of innovation and the price deflation. Through inflation, non-innovative investments are subsidized. In turn, there is an incentive to turn from engineering and innovation to investment banking and law. Innovation slows but income inequality increases as inflation erodes wages and capital is diverted into the hands of Wall Street and hedge funds. When the speculators fail, the entire system, Democratic and Republican, lurches up to advocate further direct subsidies to the unproductive interests. Faux cries of deflation energize demands for ever greater money creation placed into the hands of Wall Street. Thus, the Progressive state enhances an illusion of safety at the expense of achievement.

What sustains this exploitation of achievement are the achievers themselves, who are willing to work despite the harrassment that they receive from inflation, taxation and regulation.

In the 1950s in Atlas Shrugged Ayn Rand postulated a situtation where the most productive Americans simply drop out. Hard working people should begin to consider giving up hard work. Hard workers are fools under a socialist economy. It is time for those who work to consider putting their dollars into Euros and gold and simply retiring. If millions of Republicans go on welfare, then the system will collapse. Then, achievers can begin building a new America from scratch.

Dear Messrs. Mueller and Mukasey:

There have been allegations on the Internet of an unusually high level of voter fraud associated with a group based in Chicago known as ACORN. For example, Pamela Geller of the Atlas Shrugs blog (http://atlasshrugs2000.typepad.com/atlas_shrugs/2008/09/acorn-and-obama.html) notes that in Illinois:

"Several municipal clerks across the state are reporting fraudulent and duplicate voter registration applications, most of them from a nationwide community activist group working to help low- and moderate-income families."

If ACORN is systematically committing voter fraud across the country, there would seem to be a number of federal crimes involved, to include racketeering.

I am sending you this letter to alert you to these allegations of potential criminality concerning voter fraud in this coming election cycle.

Obama Campaign and Voter Fraud

Pamela Geller of Atlas Shrugs (h/t Larwyn and Bob Robbins) argues that Barack Obama's best hope is massive vote fraud in Illinois, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Missouri and New York. I had e-mailed the McCain campaign on August 6 that it is imperative that they develop a police strategy now. I would also argue that the FBI should be involved in this question now.

Geller writes:

"Several municipal clerks across the state are reporting fraudulent and duplicate voter registration applications, most of them from a nationwide community activist group working to help low- and moderate-income families

"The majority of the problem applications are coming from the group ACORN, Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, which has a large voter registration program among its many social service programs. ACORN’s Michigan branch, based in Detroit, has enrolled 200,000 voters statewide in recent months, mostly with the use of paid, part-time employees

"'There appears to be a sizeable number of duplicate and fraudulent applications,” said Kelly Chesney, spokeswoman for the Michigan Secretary of State’s Office. “And it appears to be widespread.'”

The Democratic Party has deteriorated to the point where its chief hope of winning this yer is fraud. The Republicans need to take action now, and the FBI needs to be involved.

Who Knows Where the Voter Fraud Goes?

On August 6 I noted that the McCain campaign needs to think carefully about fraud prevention. Yesterday, Pamela Geller(h/t Bob Robbins) covered an interesting story along the same lines:

PUMA* members were out and about in Denver trying to savor some of the ambiance when they were approached by a group of young people registering voters in Denver. They tried to register this group to vote — all of them are registered voters in other states. The young people never asked where they lived, only if they wanted to register to vote.

Bob also sent me a link to a Charles Krauthammer article in which Mr. Krauthammer wonders why there are no testimonials to Barack Obama's character. Whereas John Kerry could find a bunch of veterans and McCain has dozens of associates who will stand behind him, Obama has no one--he stands alone. Indeed, we cannot even figure out where he was born.

The mainstream media has been clownish with respect to its coverage of Mr. Obama because it has not functioned as one would expect of competent news sources. There have been few or no questions about Mr. Obama's past, his ethics, his associations in Chicago and the small matter of potential deception concerning his early life, to include allegations of forgery of his birth certificate.

The absence of "character witnesses" is consistent with my suspicion that Mr. Obama is a man who lacks character. What better way for a publicist to manage such a man's candidacy than to omit all history. This is very similar to how con men operate, and this is also why I have been suspicious for several months now about whether Mr. Obama may be exhibiting traits associated with sociopathy (also see here and here).

Pamela Geller's Old News About Barack Obama's Religion

Pamela Geller of Atlas Shrugs blogs that she noted in 2007 that:

"School documents listed Barry Soetoro as an Indonesian citizen born in Honolulu, Hawaii on 4 August 1961. Barry's religion was listed as Islam. School documents further record Barry's father as "L Soetoro Ma" who worked as an official of the Director General's office in the TNI Topography division of the Indonesian Army. Classmate Rony Amir describes a young Barry Soetoro as enjoying playing football and marbles and of being a very devout Muslim.

"Barry was previously quite religious in Islam. His birth father, Barack Hussein Obama was a Muslim economist from Kenya. Before marrying Ann Dunham, Hussein Obama was married to a woman from Kenya who had seven children. All the relatives of Barry's father were very devout Muslims"

TechDude, Anti-Obama Investigator, Threatened With Violence

Pamela Geller of Atlas Shrugs reports that Techdude, the analyst who first reported that the Internet-posted birth certificate is a forgery, has been threatened with violence.

Pamela writes:

"I have heard from 'Techdude'.

"'My family is now being harassed and threatened. She [his wife] is absolutely terrified and is afraid to leave the house or even go to work. She is begging me to stop and I am going to listen to her. I cannot endanger my family any further...'

"I stand behind his analysis. The COLB is the fake, not "techdude". Anyone who makes such a sorry claim is looking to kill the messenger..Argue his findings. I welcome peer review by his peers, not highly opinionated cyber geeks."

"There is more to come on Obama's citzenship issues. It is well beyond the COLB now. Stay tuned."

Barack Obama, the Teapot Dome and America's Parrot-Brained Media

Is Barack Obama going to be our next Warren G. Harding, the president whose cabinet was implicated in several corruption scandals, most famously the Teapot Dome scandal? Pamela Geller of Atlas Shrugs (hat tip Larwyn) has been analyzing Obama's campaign contributions and finds an extraordinarily long list of foreign contributors, including one, Jeanne McCurdy, who has made multiple contributions on a single day. Pamela writes:

"There are numerous individuals who are "bundling" contributions, some are smaller from the same person on same day, not to mention lots "unemployed or student". Further, there's a ton of foreign service and State Department admissions.
lots and lots of multiple entries.

"lots of foreign service, diplomat entries.

"lots of military analyst types.

"lots way over any $200 non-reporting caps.

Other overseas contributors are making multiple small donations ostensibly in their own names over a period of a few days, some under maximum donation allowances, but others aggregating in excess of the maximums when all added up..."

Is the media asking questions about the rather odd goings on such as Obama's cover-up of his birth certificate and unusual patterns in campaign contributions? Is the media questioning why Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs employees are overwhelmingly in favor of Mr. Obama? Is it merely because investment bankers favor change--or do they prefer $100 bills? Is the media asking questions, or is it functioning as a parrot-brained cheering squad for Mr. Obama, failing to ask even the most elementary questions that a competent mass media would ask?
